Hi, I'm Malte — a software engineer in education, currently based in Berlin.

I started my career in IT consulting, where I spent over three years leading agile digital transformation projects for major clients. I particularly enjoyed managing cross-functional teams, driving large-scale software releases, and helping organizations adopt agile ways of working. Whether serving as a Release Train Engineer, Release Manager, or Scrum Master — I loved the challenge of making complex systems work smoothly.

Over time, I realized I wanted to get closer to the code and understand how things work at a deeper level. That’s why I decided to pursue a Master’s in Applied Computer Science and focus on building robust, hands-on software solutions.

Today, I enjoy turning ideas into clean, functional products and exploring everything from backend logic and frontend design to the foundations of AI and the science behind it.
